PHARMPOWER'S TIPS FOR STUDYING FOR JURISPRUDENCE
These tips can give you ideas on how to prepare, but they are not one size fits all. Each person has their own unique studying habits.
TIP #1: SPEND TIME TO REVIEW THE MODULES
There are 6 major e-learning modules which may require up to 15 hours to complete. Set aside this time to review these modules.
TIP #2: CREATE YOUR OWN STUDY NOTES
Watching an e-learning module won't be enough to help you solidify your understanding. The best way to interpret and process the information yourself is by creating personalized study notes.
TIP #3: STUDY BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT PRACTICE QUESTIONS
Our Jurisprudence practice questions are there to help you identify strengths and weaknesses, as well as learn new things. If you go in blind, you will not be able to reflect on your studying habits.
TIP #4: VOLUNTEER AT A PHARMACY
Working in a pharmacy helps you solidify and apply what you've learned to real life patients. It will help you get a better idea of what laws, rules and standards to follow while practicing in Ontario.
